NEXT MEETING: 06/08/26, 7 PM, OZARK-DALE LIBRARY
The Dale County Democratic Party needs help from local Democrats and Independent voters to help prepare for the November 3rd, 2026 mid-term elections. There are many positive things we could accomplish together, but only if we have the necessary volunteer and funding resources to assist us. Before explaining how you can volunteer and help us, you may wish to better understand why you might want to volunteer and help us. If you haven't done so already, please take a few minutes and read the following discussion: The Importance of Volunteering.
Now that you know why it's important to volunteer and help us, let's discuss how you can help.
First of all, we desire volunteers in all regions of Dale County: Ariton, Daleville, Midland City, Newton/Pinckard, and Ozark. (We haven't yet decided whether Level Plains should be grouped with Daleville or considered separately.) Hopefully, some of these volunteers could also help support rural areas of the county surrounding these towns. That is the ideal situation, but it's only possible if we have sufficient volunteer assistance.
The two section form below asks you for your contact information and has a general survey about the possible volunteer activities you might be interested in. Don't worry. By filling out the form, you are not yet making a commitment. We'll use this information to help plan out reasonable goals that can be achieved with the available help, and to plan where in Dale County these goals should be pursued. On the form, you can ask to speak with us to inquire about what certain specific volunteer tasks entail. Please note that you'll have to fill out the required questions in the first section (contact information) before proceeding to the second section (volunteer survey). When you're finished with both sections, be sure to hit the submit button.
In the survey section, there are additional questions about what coordination meetings and/or volunteer training meetings (or video conferencing sessions) that you can participate in. Don't let these questions deter you from volunteering. For many tasks, we may be able to utilize your help, without the need for coordination/training meetings.
If practical, we would like your input as soon as you can provide it, so that we can begin planning. Once again, you are not making a commitment at this time, but we request that your interest be sincere and serious. If you decide later that you cannot provide volunteer support, we would appreciate you letting us know. Volunteer applications will be accepted until just before election day, but if you wait, we won't be able to plan, and the volunteer activities and opportunities will be severely limited. We would hope to identify most of our volunteers by the end of August.
We encourage you to share this information with your family, friends, and neighbors. Volunteering with your friends can make it an enjoyable experience. Volunteering is also an opportunity to make new friends with people sharing similar interests and views.
Thank you for your civic involvement and your participation in the democratic process. It's people like you that will eventually return a new and improved Democratic Party to prominence in Alabama and truly help make the USA great once again.
